Yes. We’re very happy to discuss your requirements and provide a quote. Please get in touch.
No. While our website shows fixed prices for press releases and blogs we can work on all types of marketing content including writing for social media, brochures, scripts and websites. Please get in touch to discuss.
No. We rarely outsource full stop. If we do, it’s only ever to tried and tested writers who have English as a first language. On these rare occasions, all content is reviewed and edited in house before it’s sent to you as part of our robust quality control.
Yes absolutely. While we’re an ‘online’ service, we’re a real team of humans and we’re very happy to take a brief by phone, video call, email or WhatsApp. There’s a degree of communication (via your preferred method) between the writer and you for every order, even those briefed via the online form.
Not at all. But we’ll always be up front and we’d work with you to try to find a newsworthy angle. We wouldn’t distribute a press release we didn’t feel was strong enough.
For distribution orders only
As a matter of course we only distribute press releases that we have written. This is because we can vouch for the quality of what we’re sending out. However we never say never (well rarely at least!). If you are from a marketing or PR agency wishing to outsource distribution, we may be able to help. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
We do not offer an official clippings service. That is, we don’t monitor where your press release is published. However, we do want to do our absolute best to secure coverage so we may be able to give you some anecdotal feedback i.e. X Publication has promised to publish in July, or Y Publication seems interested and may feature you next week.
You can either use a paid clippings service for a comprehensive way of monitoring coverage, or use a free tool such as Google Alerts to track online mentions.
Unfortunately not. We will always do our absolute best to ensure your press release is published. But it’s not paid advertising, and therefore there are NEVER any guarantees we’ll secure coverage. Clearly if that happened often we’d have no work! But it does happen and that’s just how it is. We’ll always encourage you to reuse content where possible regardless of coverage, on your own social media and website news/blog.
We’ll often provide you with the titles of publications we’ve approached, but we don’t usually provide contact information. This is because it takes time for us to build our media lists and this information is valuable! However, we may sometimes provide contact names where we feel it would be beneficial to you to follow up with an individual e.g. Tom Jones from X newspaper has suggested you call back next month ref. a new feature. This is at our discretion.
That depends. We make a decision based on the publication and the contact. Many journalists and bloggers don’t like it when PRs follow up with emails and calls. Know that we’ll always do our best to get your news published.
Yes! And it needs to be good quality and a decent relevant photo. Please see our guide in the Resource Centre for more information. Don’t forget to provide us with the names of any people in the photo.
It depends. Great quality, relevant video (i.e. relevant to the story and not just sales footage) can be brilliant to work with and provide real leverage to online publications, but there are so many variables. If you have video you think would be relevant, have a chat to us and we can advise.
